It took more than four years to create the S-Works Venge, and the result is the fastest bike we’ve ever made. Getting here took dedicating ourselves to redefining the shape, structure, and theory of speed, which led us to building our own Win Tunnel during its development. We exhausted engineers and aerodynamicists as we tested hundreds of prototypes. The payoff, however, is that every element of the bike is painstakingly constructed to be faster. This is just what i think of it but i think its in youre head its in youre legs, not in youre fancy helmet or youre shoees for 600 dollars its in the head and the lefgs cause this is faster than a road bike but its only if u ride over 40km in an houre then the aero stuff getzs in it

I wonder if it rides bone jarring like the first generation. That's why I changed to Roubaix 3 years ago. Now looking forward to see an all new tarmac.

What happened to the updated better springs for the brakes with german bushing. How come the vias that are being sold to the consumers did not come with this?

As someone that worked for bike manufacturers most of my career, I have one word for this. MARKETING. Any smart buyer knows that when you buy a Specialized bike, you are paying them mostly to rent race courses & wind tunnels for arbitrary testing, make commercials, and pay pro riders that will be fast on anything.This is why the trend has become to buy expired patent molds direct from China. Cut out the BS. It's all made in there anyway.

S-works are unimaginably pricey. I have a Roubaix and the next upgrade will probably cost me thousands. Not even remotely fair for a student who is happen to be passionate about cycling.

I love the "balls" to create this bike, but the message appears to be get a skin suit, helmet, and aliexpress handlebars for $400 all up and get 90% of the aero benefit. "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered." G Best

When you say this bike is 120 seconds faster than the Tarmac over 40k, I want to know what the terrain is like on that 40k?
