Removing and Installing a Freewheel
biciclette recensioni | biciclette Video | biciclette on-line
How to remove and install a freewheel, pretty self explanatory. I had to do this to replace a spoke on my wheel, so its not like I just remove and install my freewheel for fun, just saying... well only when I'm really bored.

thanks bro. but I you need so many tools to change a freewheeler
-
if you have the axle out first you can wedge a crowbar or other flat headed rigid implement, clamp it with vice grips, and turn the wheel out. If the axle is in you will have to use a screwdriver/hammer to brute force it out. This can damage the freewheel if it is cheap or if you use too much force.

is it possible to remove a 16t freewheel and replace it with a 6t driver ( also changing sprockets)
-
this was so helpful! thanks
-
no, otherwise you wouldn't need a freewheel tool. It sucks because its more tools you have to buy..
-
Can you take it off without the free wheel tool?

Standered issue lube for me is HOPPES 9. Works on most bike stuff for me.
