Part of my commute involves putting my Fuji Touring bike on the Metra regional train in Chicago. Metra allows bikes on their trains in off-peak hours. I do this year-round, in all weather. My bike is a heavily customized Fuji Touring, with Shimano Dura Ace bar end shifters, Schwalbe Marathon tires and Tubus Logo rear rack. The front rack is an inexpensive aluminum rack. One of the most recent additions is the milk crate on the rear rack. This bike can haul a lot of weight! It's just the kind of bike I need.
