Richard Yeselson is an old washed up liberal, he was a big coke-head in the 80's and his opinions are from the stone age.

Unions are a bunch of thugs and lazy motherfuckers.

Taft-Hartley has to go. We need Solidarity Strikes & General Strikes now more than ever.

Good point.

Yo do realize you were being trolled right, lol? be careful of these characters cause when you go beyond like 4-5 comments on something and it turns into an arguement, you are being trolled. CIA or a provocateur or something is getting at you. just ignore and move on!

Unions no longer deal with safety. pay, health care, and retirement, are there main priorities after the Union rapes its workers of money. Heads of unions make more money then any of the employees it represents.

Um, there's a difference between reacting and BEING reactionary. You were the one that went off, spouting all this pretentious nonsense about ignorance, history, "know-nothing" comments, etc etc...all because of my laughing. Go figure.
-
How can a "comment" know anything? a comment is an abstraction, it can't possibly KNOW anything. You're so arrogant and obtuse, its quite funny observing your over reaction. But then again I've always found ancaps to be the reactionary types anyway.
-
"your know-nothing comment"---kinda speaks for itself, pal. My comment doesn't have to "know something" for me to know what I know. You can return laughter till your face turns blue, doesn't really change much now doesn't it?
-
So you assume I know nothing based on what? I am not here to argue anything. I merely expressed my feelings regarding a particular ideology---I laughed. Get over it.
-
Comparing the spherical shape of the planet (which it actually isn't, by the way) to some bunk, sophomoric ideology is pretty absurd. And do you realize how pretentious and arrogant sounding you are, comparing peoples rejection of your ideology as being akin to histories rejection of other ideologies and ignorance?

Restrct unions it should be fair to restrict cambers of commerce leagues of municipalities, along with the many professional organizations. All who look out for the best interests of the members Without a union behind them a lone worker can''t stand a chance against all those seeking to make penny from the worker's labor

Yes, but it has always been the case that they will die out since the industrial era, since the time when they only had 1-2 barber shops, 1-2 grocery stores, and basically very little competition. This has nothing to do with regulation or taxation. Its tough to gain a reputation over established businesses. It is that way with everything.

You dont earn money alone. All along your path through society you gain from others also working, and you lose out when others are not working. We arent islands, and you arent doing anything alone no matter how independent you think you are. Also, I dont like morality in general, but if you think of life as meaningful, then that is the moral authority to distribute some of peoples funds to benefit all of society. But even then, for instance, helping the poor lowers crime and unecessary death.

issue, where they can work up the populace to support change. Anyway, regulation has not shown to affect small business numbers in the country so much as the money big business has to throw around. Most people do want to pay the price of regulation though. California doesnt speak for everybody lol As for buying chinese products, there really isnt much choice. Companies have been keeping worker pay down as prices rise, and for instance, you cant even buy a decent non-asian built phone :(

I just want to comment on this false piece of assumption. 1) Small business usually already pays more than global business, and usually has better benefits, so I dont how they would be struggling. Plus the problem with small businesses is more usually that they are being bought out, not because they cant profit, but due to how much big business offers. 2) Most small business are exempt limited from certain regulations, based on their size. If they have an issue, usually it is on a local ...

Right to work is no good for the common worker. Unions lose the power to fight for better rights.

Well, how many murders and rape happened last years in USA? Just think about it. Ok, I understand that some of them are due to the war on drugs, which I disagree with... What we get is some power to put a price on murder. Beside, think about it: there is always a power structure. The only thing that will happen is the contractor managing the common will merge their utility (as they are co-dependent anyway), creating a new de facto government. There is a need for law and order ;)
