La Bicicletta launches OPEN Cycle in Eastern Canada

La Bicicletta hosted a launch event for OPEN bicycles on December 4th, 2012. OPEN is the partnership of Gerard Vroomen (of Cervelo fame) with Andy Kessler (former CEO of BMC) and is focused on producing innovative and exceptional mountain bikes. La Bicicletta is one of the select sources for these new bikes. The OPEN O-1.0 hardtail mountain bike is the lightest production bike in it's class. La Bicicletta will carry the full compliment of sizes and will have them available for test rides. This extended interview with Vroomen touches on the company, the idea, and the bike.
