SLIME IS AWESOME . I use it in most of my bikes I recomend it to everyone . I don't even know who makes it.
-
Nope. Go to the store & pick up a bottle of Slime. Generally, the 7 or so ounce bottle is good for two tires. So, roughly speaking, the weight of the bottle is the weight you'll be adding to your tires (minus the bottle itself, of course... unless you want to carry it around as a trophy.)

Well, Slime has a couple types of sealants. One is for car tires which has either a blue or yellow label (tubeless) and the other (red label) is for tires with tubes. For you sir, we would recommend that you use the red labeled bottle (for bikes) unless you you wanted to convert your bike to a tubeless setup in which we would recommend Slime Pro Tubeless Sealant. For more information go to slime.com - Hope this helped

Contradictory advice here.. one post says get at walmart and another says auto slime is different than bike slime. So can i use it for my bike?
-
Yes it does. The black cap shown 5 seconds into the video shows how it is also a valve core removal tool.
-
Does the tool come with the slime?
-
it should be noted that many valve caps have a notch in them, so they double as a valve removal tool.
-
The black cap in this video is also a valve core removal tool and yes it comes with the bottle. you can find Slime at your local bike shop or even at WalMart. Hope this helps.

In this case, the bottle featured is an 8oz container so yes, you only need half the bottle or 4oz per mountain bike tire.
-
so its half bottle per tire?

Bell might make a tube that is 3x thicker then a regular tube but WE MAKE A TUBE 5X THICKER than our regular tube.... "The ultimate choice for flat prevention, SUPER THICK SMART TUBES are 5X thicker to provide unbeatable protection against even the most damaging thorns, glass and debris." search for them at slime dot com for more information
-
yes you just put it in and inflate and ride around and the leak should stop if not then thier a rip and you to pour the slime back return it a if so id stongly reconmend a bell smart tube it is three times thicker then a normal tube it has two lars and comes with slime in the middle

Works just fine with my bike. I installed it like the bottle told me to and it came out great. No flats. Only those that didn't follow directions say that it doesn't work.

-
@jaredfontaine2002 yes you do
-
@lstruggy if you remove the valve core and put the valve at 6 o' clock you might be able to see some green slime come out if you squeeze it. that would probably be your best bet.
