Just got this delivered. How do you tighten the nut on the axel the side with all the wiring? mine doesn't want to move more than half a revolution any more I feel I'm just twisting the electrics inside. any advice?

I am new to understanding E-bikes, I have a drop handle bar shimano shifters road bike and will I have to dismantle the brake lever to assemble the e-bike lever, because this is what is putting people off with conversion kits.

that sounds really bad, even my first battery i had which was a 17ah battery after a year and a half of daily use i could still get about 15-20 miles out of it just had to be gentle on the throttle, if you tried too much power up a hill it would just cut out. but if you unplug it then re connect it it worked again. Also they perform a lot worse in cold weather. you should always try to go for at least 20ah with a motor this powerful. should be less than £300 on aliexpress if you look around. something like this http://www.aliexpress.com/item/free-DHL-EMS-shipping-1pcs-lot-1000W-Electric-bike-Lithium-Ion-Battery-48V-20AH-with-charger/701895087.html
