can you test the MOSFETS in circuit??
-
Why do you say sodder instead of solder?

i saw your vedio about controller i liked it I need help can u do it please I have 48v DC brushless motor without hall sensor its controller not working now and its hard to get can I use this controller with that motor how to make connection because I have only 3 nos of motor wires witch for 3 phase power supply please till me how i can run the motor with this controller and also how can controll speed thankx in advance

i have one indentical also 36v, so you think I can connect to 12 S lipo bat? (remember fully charged it willbe 49V!!)

With this China engins/hub i have /had always a Big Problems! This are realy fucken Stupid Made systems with this halls sensors! All system is Not Good and will take the money of your packet! The sallers do anything, how they make you stupid to buy for exemple the next Speed Changers or the Wheel or the Batteries..And if all this KIT is working 5 month,,be very glad and jump up!!...

could you run a motor direct from the battery or is that a really bad idea?

Hi
I have an ebike 36v 12ah (acid battery)
My motor brushless is 250w. So I had an equal ebike 3 years ago and the old ebike (same model) run 32klm/h. And this model just run 27 klm/h.
I think maybe is the controller who limit the speed.
Somebody know what it's my best solution?
My controller have current limit 15+/_ 0.5A -
I have a 48V 600W controller for a electric scooter e-bike.
It runs (4) 12V - 22AH sealed lead acid batteries.
I wanted to add an additional 12v-22Ah battery as a shunt mod to
the main power line to give me more boost going uphill.
Would this be okay? or Do I have to open the controller
to find out what size voltage capacitors are in it.
adding a fifth batter would make that a total of 60V of power is that correct?
Having capacitors less than 60V, they would burn out correct?
Sorry for asking so many questions because my electrical knowledge is limited. -
just by watching this, you have saved me from a huge fubar, one of the mosfets (bad spelling i know) wasn't soldered to the board at all, none there, just left floating around in the box, this showed me where to attach and solder it as it fitted into 2 different areas on the board, thanks big time!!

Good vid

I got the exact same controller in my bike.

Hi that was an excellent video; I currently have a brushless controller with a power wire adapter(that looks very similar to the one in your video) that does not fit the standard red/back connectors from the battery do you have a video anywhere that addresses this?
-
Thanks for the video, its very useful. I have just purchased my first ebike which has a 250w Brushless motor and controller (Model CF:DK250W) Power 250W 36V Peak Protection 12A. I have a 36V Li-ion pack 9Ah as the battery. The bike is limited to 15MPH in assist mode & 6mph throttle only. I know the bike can do around 23MPH in assist & 18MPH in throttle only mode, but what will be limiting my bike? is it the controller which is programmed to be that way? or internal wiring/components? Thanks

Hi, I have the 48v 20 ah battery and its massive. you are right about the rough terrain causing problems cause im so back heavy. is it possible for someone to split it into 2 batteries, 10 ah each? thanks
-
48v 20ah is bigger than you think usually, it will probably fit..but mostly likely will break from the weight of the battery going over rough terrain. This will also make your bike very back heavy.

you can put then in an enclosure, but it is not recommended since the aluminum is supposed to act as a heat sink and cool itself down. make sure you dont run the controller at full capacity if your plannning on hiding it, or modify it with a cooling fan of some sort.

u know your shit, i just got a sunwin 48 volt 1000w controller for my e-bikekit brushless motor, but doesnt seem to work, anyway to tell if controller is shit???

metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor

what is a mosfet?
-
Yes they can be repaired..just have to find the short in the circuit like all electronics. its usually a blown capacitor or mosfet, but it could be anything. If your interested in a new controller i recommend the Lyen 72v 30a controller. you can buy one at wuw/endless-sphere/com in the sale forums. They are 36-72v capable and work great.
