Btwin bikes are always in short supply. Three years ago, I wanted a Triban 5 but never found one in my size. Now I'm looking for a Riverside 500 as a secondary bike for commuting but can't find one anywhere in the country
-
I would like to know how much just the frame weights..
-
thanks. Salesman know everything about the product. that's rare thing in my country.I think that's why your country is called "developed country".
-
fantastic road bike I have the btwin triban 540 and that's also amazing but the alur 700 is outstanding

Nice video. How tall are you

Srs question, why do so many vegans bike ride? Is it because of the harmful effects of cars?
-
Cool video mate , you could always try your next one to be the E bike ebco ucl 10 , as I want one lol.
-
That's a lot of bike for the money..
Now on sale for £599 -
Nice review, thanks! But as a Decathlonian he should clean his vest or at least use the apron ahaha

Good preview. I was wondering where the release for the rear brake was, as on the Rose bikes with direct mounts, that release is between where the cable exits the frame and the rear brake itself, which I think is neater, but it does get dirty down there!

Great bike for the price. The brakes are direct-mount too......
-
i would ride it offroad and onroad

Picked my medium size alur 700 up today, the head stock is 3cm smaller on the medium than the large were as all the other dimensions are only 1 1/2 to 2cm smaller so not as much a sportive bike as the large,(stem flipped over now) the saddle is terrible so that's been swapped. this replaces my carbon cannondale synapse, alur 1kg more in weight but me 2 stone over weight so hey why put up with all the kid glove treatment the carbon bike needs. bottom bracket has quite a bit of flex but not a problem. all in all a great bike full stop, regardless of the cheap price for the kit your getting on it. so unless your a salesman type that wants to out do every one else and will not ride a btwin or an alloy I don't think you can get it wrong with this bike (if you can get one)
but get the size right im 5'10 and a half and always ride a large size(like the comfort of a larger bike) bike but this in a large was too big, the medium sits between a medium and a large cannondale and the large between a large and xlarge cannondale good luck and have a nice life Jono
p.s. rode it today in the rain and that rear calliper stays as clean as a normally mounted one, all the shite from the rear wheel goes out the back and up your back and not on the calliper as its before the point of contact with the rear tyre and road not after like normal, and its quiet hidden from the front tyre hope this helps. -
Thanks Craig for the video on this eluding Alur 700, bicycle. Have yet to see it in the flesh, as they sell out online before they reach the decathlon store here in Belfast. As I would like to try before I buy, I'm not one to buy something from just looking at pictures. Hopefully they reach the store in the next batch delivery, due late August.

That looks a very nice bike...but maybe needs just a little bit more colour!
