Borealis Echo First Look / Review - Fist fat bike I've ever ridden that didn't feel like a tank. Only 26 lbs 13 oz. for a size Medium and it has a suspension front fork! Many fat bikes weigh 34+ lbs without a suspension fork. www.borealisbikes.com http://www.borealisbikes.com/bike/echo Now for the bad: 1. The Carbon Fiber Wheels are fragile - don't get 'em yet! 2. SRAM 1x11 won't stay in largest rear cog when backpeddling which kind of sucks when rotating pedals backwards to get them in position to get on, especially when trying to get on while on an uphill. 2. The Rock Shox Bluto Fork isn't designed for use below 32 degrees - how stupid is that? My friend hasn't had a problem but you can search the internet and find people who have. Here's what SRAM had to say: “RockShox products are designed for optimal performance in temperatures ranging from 0° C (32° F) to 38° C (100° F). As temperature affects performance, some adjustment of air pressure and damping may be required within this range. Product performance will degrade in temperatures outside this range. RockShox products are not recommended for use in temperatures below -12° C (10° F) and above 49° C (120° F).” You might want to get the seal kit talked about in this article: http://mud-sweat-gears.com/blogs/news/16355516-turnagain-cures-cold-weather-blues-with-new-etr-seal-kit-for-rockshox-bluto-fat-bike-forks
