biciclette recensioni | biciclette Video | biciclette on-line
I show the process of upgrading my homebrew cyclocross bike from a 7 speed drive train, up to a 10 speed drive train. I replaced the cassette, rear derailleur, chain, and shifters along with new cables. Great video & I wish i could do that to my 7 speed Bianchi , just subscribed , can you subcribe back to my channel. thanks
-
nice! im new sub.. say whats advantageous to having a presto valve instead of a schrader valve on ones tube?

1:17 why on earth would you cut a perfectly functional cable? You can use it for other bikes later! Why would you cut it and make it short / unusable? Waste in my opinion.

Can I use Road Bike Shifters with MTB Rear and Front Mech.
(Eg - Shimano Claris shifters [8speed] with Shimano Tourney 2×8 speed mech.) -
Hey RJ, where do you get your parts? Do you get them at a good price? How cheap can you get the parts? General overview like shifters, cranksets, etc.

I am working on my specialized hardrock from the 80's and was wondering if i could upgrade to an 8 speed. It currently has a shimano interactive glide 7 speed cassette, with a freehub about 32 mm long. The hub model is fh-rm40. Do you thing a new 8 speed cassette would work?

I think the lever of your brake is too high for this kind of canti. you can get off closest to the wheel
-
So to go from a 7 to 10 speed I don't need to change my crankset or bottom bracket?

Another great video.......

the pun was un bear-able

I have a 6 speed Shimano cassette on my 1987 Bianchi. Yes, cassette, not freewheel. It's a 105 Shimano... can I upgrade to a 10 or 11 spd cassette? How can I tell?

OK, I have a 2017 giant atx 2 and I know I am going to need to replace cassette at some time. Is it possible for me to go from 7 speed to 10 or 11 speed. I just wanted to ask as I don't want to purchase items and then have them not able to fit. Thanks in advance!

Very handy videos! I've got a '96 Cannondale H300. You've educated me on how I can replace the grip shifters and the cassette. It runs fine as-is but I should replace the original kit because it's so damn old. :)

I am changing my bike from a 7 speed to a 9 should I have any issues
-
How would you go about reducing from 27 to lets say 21 speed, but still leaving the 27 speed shifters on
-
Hi RJ. First of all, your videos are awesome! I'm learning a lot from you.
I wanted to ask u something. I am building my road bike from an old chiorda frame. It is almost done, but the freehub is giving me some problems (even though I cleaned it and put new grease as u teach in one of your videos). The rear triangle of the bike was originally 124mm, and I expanded it to 126mm to put a 7v cassette. So, as I can't find a 7v freehub anywere, or it is more expensive than buying an entire new shimano hub, do u think it is possible to expand it to 130mm? So I can put an 8v cassette? I am using shimano claris groupset (just the derraileurs and the bottom crankset).
